Walter
1795

Anton Walter — Viennese Classicism · First instrument

The very first Walter fortepiano built at the workshop. A challenge set by a concert pianist started everything — and led to an album recording, proof from the very first work that the instrument was equal to the professional stage.

Capsules, hammers, action, keyboard — built entirely in Guebwiller.
